The Honda 5hp outboard has long been a favourite with tender users and boaters seeking value for money auxiliary power.
Say goodbye to two-stroke noise, smell and poor fuel consumption. And, because it's a Honda, you can guarantee we didn't compromise quality to bring it to the market.
Easy to use, the BF5 is started easily with the recoil cord. Forward, neutral and reverse gears are all accessed from the lever on the side of the engine and the power is controlled by the throttle grip on the tiller handle. Engine trim can be set in 5 positions.
This water cooled engine offers the user up to 3 amps of power through the charging coil, ideal for marine battery uses.
This variant is the long shaft model. BF5 runs on standard unleaded fuel supplied from a 12.5 litre external fuel tank. The fuel tank and fuel line is supplied with the engine. A standard propeller is fitted. Model is supplied with a Honda toolkit.
